Providing learning opportunities for our members was one of the original reasons for forming ARTA, and education remains essential to our mission. The Education Committee plans discussions, workshops, and other programs so members can learn more about their craft, explore new and classic plays, and understand different dimensions of theatre in our region and beyond.

Education Committee

Who can join the Education Committee?

Any member of ARTA is welcome to volunteer for the Education Committee. Many of us are involved with education by day, but being a teacher is by no means a requirement! We just ask that you commit to one-hour meetings about once a month (except during the summer), plus occasional additional time to assist with organizing various Ed Comm events.

PETER. They’re definitely going to want to join Ed Comm after all that.

KRISTEN. Do they know how to reach us?

PETER. There’s gonna be buttons so they can email us.

KRISTEN. I’ll get more emails than you.

PETER. Probably.
