Robin Barker, the Former Dance Captain in the NJ TAP Dance Ensemble, National | International Performer with SSL as "Elmo," is an Artistic Theater Practitioner and Exec/Artistic Director of Biz E Byrd Productions, LLC, who builds Entertainment Beyond purpose through creative arts and dance expression solutions. With 30+ years as a professional artist in the NYC Tri-State and WNY Regional Theater/Dance arena. The AEA and SDC member currently serves as Council Member and EDIAA Co-Chair for ARTA and is excited to commit honest ideas and expertise through the love of the creative arts that will bridge the gap in underserved communities. Some WNY Regional acting and choreography credits include: Shea's 710 Performing Arts Theater, MusicalFare Theater, Paul Robeson Theater, and Buffalo State University Theater for three seasons. Winner of several Artie Awards and Winner for Outstanding Ensemble and performances, Robin gained film training with the Buffalo Niagara Film Commission as a trained Production Assist and was an extra in the Universal Film Studios. Robin was NUTS and holds a BFA from Niagara University. She is a big community advocate who values people, partnerships, and power moves to improve the lives of youth and families through creating space for limitless self-expression!
